When controversy developed about a planned special exhibition on the Nazi perpetrators Michael Berenbaum was called in to advise on handling the crisis. Together with the director and the curator, he helped develop a strategy for dealing with the controversy, responding to press inquiries, and authoring op-ed pieces to help ensure a successful exhibition.
