Michael Berenbaum led the project that developed an interactive “app” to enhance a visit to the Memorial and also the educational tools for pre-visit preparation and post-visit expanded learning. Local survivor testimony was utilized to give it increased valence for visitor of the Memorial. The “app” and accompanying educational and film material is available in multiple languages including Spanish, Russian and Creole to reach the diverse audience that visit the Memorial. He wrote the text and produced the six films that are an integral part of the “app” . He is also involved in the ongoing training of teachers and docents at the Memorial.
